SUMMER CAMP
The Merkos School organizes a Summer Camp every year for the Nursery School and for the children of the primary school.
From the last week of June and for almost the entire month of July,
internal and external children are welcomed,
to offer them a program of recreational, sports and games activities.

PSYCHOLOGIST OFFICE
The Merkos School uses a psychological listening service for students, parents and teachers. The psychologists, one for the nursery and secondary school and another who follows the primary school and the high school girls, have a very important role within our institute: when requested, they support the students in their daily lives with teachers and classmates, help manage any problems that may arise between student/school/family, evaluate the climate in which the lessons are held and where their contribution could be needed. To support their work, the psychologists also propose some group activities for students, parents or teachers.

SCHOOL CANTEEN
The school has a large, bright and cheerful canteen. Every day a hot lunch is served, cooked on site, to all levels of the school: students and staff. Agreed with the ASL dietician, the menu is varied, nutritious and delicious. To believe it, just see how the children eat with appetite every day and how they then enthusiastically sing the BirkatHamazon – thanksgiving for the meals. Naturally, the menu, full of very fresh products, complies with the rules of Kashrùt, (a diet in accordance with the rules of the Torah).
In addition, daily, for the mid-morning snack, fresh seasonal fruit is distributed to all students. The school adheres to the fruit and vegetables in school program LINK
BETEAVÒN SOLIDARITY KITCHEN
Beteavòn, which in Hebrew means Bon Appetit, is the first and only kosher social kitchen in Italy, whose mission is to offer free meals to those who find themselves in temporary or ongoing difficulty. Kosher social kitchen means that the meals, which are offered to everyone without distinction of gender or religion, are prepared following the millenary Jewish dietary rules. The Beteavòn kitchen, with a view to optimizing resources, is located in the Merkos School in Milan, and was inaugurated in 2014 by the will of the Chabad Lubavitch movement. It operates without public subsidies, succeeding in its mission only thanks to the generosity of many volunteers and benefactors.
