Joe Nahmad Girls High School

In April 2014, the agreement between the Israeli Ministry of Education and Merkos l’Inyonei Chinuch, the educational branch of the Chabad movement in Italy, was made official. This agreement saw the recognition of the Bagrut project (Jewish high school diploma) experimentally launched in 2011 by the Joe Nahmad High School of the Merkos Schools in Milan.

The agreement formally recognizes the possibility of taking the Bagruiot exams at the Milan headquarters of the Merkos Schools and therefore obtaining the Israeli high school diploma.

The Bagruiot study cycle lasts 4 years and is characterized by the flexibility and completeness of the educational path that results in a personalized study project that opens the doors to the best universities in Israel (which can be accessed directly without having to attend the Mechinà year) and in the world.

In fact, students can customize their academic path, even from year to year, to meet their needs and interests. The strengths of the Joe Nahmad High School curriculum are, in particular, mathematics, for which Israel is at the top of the world rankings, and English.
